Description of Service
Cited is an AI visibility optimization platform. We collect AI engine responses, audit web pages against research-backed signals, and provide recommendations to improve AI citation performance.
Account Registration
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. One account per person unless otherwise authorized by Cited.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use the service lawfully and in accordance with these terms. You must not:
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or redistribute our research data
- Interfere with the operation of the service
- Use the service to harm others
Intellectual Property
Our research methodology, signal database, and platform are proprietary. Audit reports generated for your account are yours to use. You retain ownership of your content and data.
Data and Privacy
Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the service, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in that policy.
Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is." We make no guarantees about specific AI visibility outcomes. AI engine algorithms change independently of our service. Our recommendations are based on statistical analysis and may not produce identical results for every page.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cited's liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
